 Download
the updater file and extract the compressed .zip file to a
folder. You DO NOT need to install the software that came
with your wireless card. Proceed to step 3.
- If you have
already installed the software that came with your wireless
card, no worries, the update can be installed right over the
top.
- Run the setup.exe
and complete the installation... If the computer needs to be restarted,
please do so.
- <Right Click> on
the
"My Computer" icon
on your desktop and click on "Properties" (right)
- Click on the "Hardware"
tab and
select "Device Manager" (below)
- Under
"Network adapters" double click on "SMC2532W-B High Power
Wireless Adapter"
(below left)
- Click the "Advanced"
tab and
highlight "Firmware Download" in the Property window.
(below right)
- Change the Value to
"Enable"
(below right)
- That's it, you are up to date!
